Concealment Holsters

The Pistol holster shouldn’t matter in that situation. It’s a nylon strap that is adjusted to be comfortable for you. The only difference would be if you had one that had elastic to allow stretching for extra room when you kneeled and your thigh muscle flexed gun holsters.

Foubus is junk IMO!!!

They should all be recalled. Put a trainer in a concealment holster tighten up the belt and have someone reach over and smack the holster and watch it pop off the belt. I was told this and tried it, it comes off pretty dang easy. The plactic seems to break right at the rivets each time. I agree with coltshorty45 on this one.

I dunno. I have a regular roto-holster for my Glock Magazines and my 1911. I like em a lot for range use. They slip on and off my belt really easily (they’re the paddle style), and function well. I had some Uncle Mike’s kydex ones, and they always hung on my belt when trying to remove them. They’re a decent, cheap range Shoulder holsters, IMO.

I had a SIG 229, went to the shop to get a Safariland Holsters, so I decided on a Fobus, I opened the packege, inserted the pistol, and then I could’nt get the gun out of the damned thing… The dealer had to use a dremel to remove the gun, and in the process scratch the picc out of my SIG.. But he took care of that, I did’nt like the sig anyways, but I will never even think of another Fobus Holsters pos.

BIANCHI HOLSTERS

In 1958 John Bianchi had a vision of what he thought a duty holster should be and set out to develop a line of products that carried out that vision. Since that time almost 50 years ago, Bianchi Sholder holsters, belts and accessories have been used in police, military and sporting applications the world Gun holsters.

The world is changing and we are very aware of that at Bianchi Holsters International, which is why our product line continues to evolve to keep pace with today’s customer demands. We are continuously researching new materials, developing new designs and entire new product lines to meet these changing Pistol Magazines.

Glock 19 Magazine

o what if he does? Does that make him a freak or deserve a wow? Does that make him less of a man or something? Did I miss the memo that shows how they proved hand size directly relates to intelligence or penis size? What about women and kids, are they not worthy of shooting Glock 19 Magazine because their hands aren’t big enough either?

I just don’t understand the stupid comments that posted everytime this subject comes up. Such as..

You just don’t like it because you personally don’t need it. Well goody gum drops for you but there are a lot of people who do.

There is nothing wrong with replaceable grip inserts and it is stupid for any polymer pistol in this day and age not to have them. The problem is people like you who have no problems with the Glocks the way they are seem to think that if they work for you, they should work for everybody and if it doesn’t tough shit.

Well that’s not the way it works. Most companies have already caught on to that and whether you like it or not, Glock 19 Magazines will eventually have to wake up and smell that coffee too. Mark my words, it will happen. Maybe not this year or next but it is coming.

Don’t fret though, all you haters who think the Gen2 or 3 frames are perfection should rejoice because just think about all of the cheap Gen2 and 3 frames that will hit the market when everybody starts trading up the the Gen4 (or 5?) frames!

Philippines: Some seek to institutionalize total gun ban
The Quezon City police district said Tuesday it wants to institutionalize the implementation of total gun ban. “It’s good for the city and the community,” City police director Chief Superintendent Elmo San Diego said. He added that a total gun ban would help remove illegal guns from the streets, thus reducing crime incidents like gang wars. San Diego admitted that a total gun ban would take some time and would need amendments on current legislation.

Do you want government regulating what movies can be shown to the public? Do you want the government determining what movies can be advertised? Or what books can be sold? Pistol Holsters

Actually wraping the pistol Blackhawk Holster in a plastic bag and wetting down the inside of the holster does work. Keep the pistol in the Safariland Holsters till it dries. I took a very well made Pocket Holster made for High Power fit a 1911 Commander like a glove.

I just bought a Galco Cop Slide and the leather is pretty stiff and it is hard to pull out the weapon. What is a good way to break in the Pistol Magazines?

miltsparks recommends the plastic around the Pistol Holsters method (no water). it worked with my Safariland Holster––it’s just enough to loosen new leather.

Leather Holsters

Go to your local auto parts store and purchase a bottle of Lexol leather conditioner (16 oz. ~ $10). I’ve used this for years on everything from car seat leather, baseball gloves, leather belts, leather jackets, shoes and yes leather holsters. It really works magic on leather, making the leather feel broken-in and gun holsters.

O NOT use anything on your holster unless it’s recommended by the maker otherwise you’ll wind up with a useless piece of leather. Wrap the unloaded gun in a plastic baggie or wax paper (wax side out) and leave it overnight, if still tight leave it in for another 4-6 hours. You can also just sit in front of the TV and just draw your weapon in/out till it loosens up. Just make absolutely sur that the gun is unloaded and keep the ammo/mag in another room if other folks/kids are around.

AK-47

Finally, has anyone ever had an issue with stock screws backing out/coming loose?
I don’t think loc-tite will work, with PLASTIC AK-47 stocks, so I was wondering if a tiny dab of clear silicone would work, to keep the screws from backing out? I have a buddy who has this problem. I know that ak-47 Holster company has always recommended to use a dab of clear silicone, on the threads of their holster screws, to act as a sort of Loc-Tite. The clear silicone has proven to work really well for me in that application.
Anyone else have a better idea, to use on the stock screws, in conjunction with plastic stocks????
Thanks for help with the above questions guys.

While I have put together several ARs, last night’s gave me trouble because 1) I hadn’t done it in a while and 2) the revised instructions at AR15.com suck. I usually get the instructions because, while I can probably assemble it from memory, there are some things that have to be done in order (for instance, putting on the stock before the selector switch would be bad). Any way, far superior instructions on the build are here. Any way, we got it done despite me launching the buffer retainer three times, eventually losing it. Fortunately, I had a replacement:

Handgun Holsters

I quickly discovered that although the Fobus was great for that purpose, it was useless for concealed carry. So, I used it during the commute and switched to a Blade-Tech paddle holster before and after the commute. Worked great for it’s intended purpose and I liked it. Now that I don’t have that long commute, I just use the Handgun Holsters and position it a little further back around the hip in the car and slip it back forward for walking around.

Pardon me while I yawn; then see my remarks above regarding gun Holsters grabbers. Anyone who carries exposed, and isn’t wearing a proper uniform duty-type concealment holster, is ASKING to have their piece snatched.

Concealed carry is much more than techniques and gear; it is very much a state of mind as well.

Not dissing you personally, Aimless; but I have heard this pap about how easy a Fobus is to break repeated so often it is getting tiresome. I’m not disputing the fact; but those "instructors" who belabor the point are MISSING the point: which is, the Fobus is intended for concealed carry. IOW, nobody ahould know you even have a gun until you’re ready to show it to them…

his sucks; I have the EXACT Fobus Holster they denoted as being unsafe. I bought it about 2 months ago because I wanted a holster for my G19 with my TLR-1 mounted. I don’t use it for a daily carry holster, I only break it out once in a blue moon if my wife and I go for a late night walk. If I am not using the TLR, I prefer my Galco Holsters Matrix Belt Slide in the composite Uncle Mikes Holster arena - it just seems a bit nice than the Fobus to me.

I’ll probably keep mine as it is seldom used. I will, however, not be taking it’s possible safety issues for ankle holster.

Beretta 92 Magazine

‘ve been looking for a blued Beretta 92 Magazine (80’s production). I have read reports and "talk" about the locking block being prone to breakage. I’m not a high volume shooter and have always been interested in getting a Beretta 92F.

I’d like some feedback from users here about there first hand experience with the Beretta 92 Magazines. I’m not looking for a pistol that will last 100,000. I just need to know that it won’t have a cracked slide or something after a thousand rounds.

he locking block issues seem to only occur with VERY high volume shooters, and even then it’s not like it’s super common.

safariland tactical holsters

The Bianchi Shoulder holsters have since been redesigned with wider leather shoulder holster and a plastic safariland tactical holsters that is too wide to be caught in the trigger guard.

Consumers should stop using the revolver holsters immediately and bring them to a Fobus USA distributor for a free replacement holster or contact First Samco for instructions on how to return product for a replacement. Consumers can also send the recalled holster to Fobus USA in Southampton, and will be reimbursed for return shipping.

For more information consumers can call 866-508-3997 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday.

Had Fox news on while I was doing something else in the house, but I glanced up and saw one of those rolling headlines at the bottom of the screen. If I’m not mistaken, it said something to the effect that a certain model of Fobus holsters is being recalled because of eight incidents where a strap or something pulls the trigger when the weapon is drawn. Yikes; I’ve got two Fobus Roto-Bianchi Shoulder holsters (1911 and Glock Magazine 19). Mine don’t have straps, though. Made me wonder. Anyone else heard anything

‘ve rarely seen anything other than the standard black and brown but this seems like it would be a great line for Cav Arms or Bladetech to introduce. Maybe something like the Orange stocks marketed by Speedfeed for Dedicated Less Lethal Shotguns.

I have a question about the 6xxx series tactical revolver holsters. How tight is the Bianchi Shoulder holsters if you are shooting when you are kneeling? I am kinda on the big side and the last time I had a tactical revolver holsters it cut off circulation on my right leg. Granted it was an airsoft revolver holsters but I just don’t want to purchase the holster and then find out it isn’t going to work out. I know I know I should lose weight but will that matter?

Just picked up a Fist #5 pocket holster for my P3AT, it came tighter than a tic. After a few afternoons & evenings infront of the tube working the unloaded pistol in & out it is now perfect. safariland tactical holster this is w /o a doubt the finest pocket holster I have tried.

I just looked on their website. The nearest I could find is the "concealable belt holster" but I could swear the packaging at the time said COP on it. May be wrong, it’s been nearly four years.

Either way, the holster was crap. Switched to a 20 year old Galco made of thicker, tougher Leather Holster and that held up. Galco uses too much oil.

After spending $140 and waiting six months, I received a High-Noon "safariland tactical holsters Argument" for my G26 (I know, not the same as you’re talking about, but High-noon follows a similar pattern for their IWB holsters). Thank god for their no-questions-asked return policy. It felt like I was carrying a brick in my pants. I shipped that POS back ASAP, and bought an MTAC. It was $80 and it came in a week. It is so comfortable I forget it’s there, and it conceals nicely.

One thing I’ll give High-Noon: they use metal belt clips. If the MTAC had metal belt clips, it would be perfect. For $25, the Bare Asset may get the job done cheaply, but the High-noon design is subpar, Tactical holster.

Blackhawk Holsters

I have no issue with Fobus Uncle Mikes Holsters. I trusted one to carry my M9 around various FOB’s in Afghanistan, granted when I left the wire my pistol holster moved up to my body armor mounted Blackhawk Serpa.

It was plenty comfortable for walking around and sitting down and such Blackhawk Holsters (it was belt mounted) and I never worried about my weapon falling out of it.

I’ve got an older Fobus roto-paddle holster for my Glock Magazines. It’s ok for range work or screwing around at home. Never thought about using for CCW even before all the talk about being able to rip it off. It just doesn’t conceal worth a damn unless you wear a bulky coat all the time. All in all, it’s worth the 20 bucks I paid for it 5 years ago as it’s held up fine for what I bought it for.

was looking at the GRSC CRS Rifle Scope myself and really like everything it offers! I don’t like that it’s a Millett with w/ a great reticule because of the Millett’s weight and less than stellar performance. Some of the things mentioned above (minus the ridiculous comparison to NCstar) including the fact that no more will be made in the foreseeable future, steered me away from it.

It’s nothing more than a dream, but I think that it’d be much more useful if those legislators now wishing to ban “assault rifles” would, instead, spend the same time and energy pushing for the strict enforcement of the thousands of gun laws already on the books and the immediate and harsh punishment of those who break them. Were they to do that, this nation’s gun owners would rise and stand shoulder to shoulder with them. Unfortunately, this will never likely happen and the argument over firearms — of any type — will continue with no end in sight.
